The flexible, part-time Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management (M Ed ELM) extends Mary Immaculate College’s strong commitment to the principle of professional development in the education system. | Entry Requirements | Applicants will normally hold a minimum 2.2 Honours Bachelor degree (major award at level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications) or a major award at Level 9 or a major award at Level 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications. Applicants will normally have a minimum of two years relevant work experience in an education setting and should be currently working in a relevant education setting. Other applicants who have substantial and relevant prior experience and/or learning will also be considered. Acceptance under this category will be subject to an interview and considered in light of the UL Policy on Accredited Prior Learning. |

The Structured PhD programme is a four year structured programme which involves coursework in research methods, core and optional discipline specific courses and generic skills and training.
The Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology (DECPsy) is a highly sought-after three-year, full-time professional training course for candidates interested in pursuing a career as an educational psychologist.
This programme consists of six taught modules and a 20,000 word dissertation.
The course is aimed primarily at Language Teachers and other language professionals.
