AIM:
This course teaches the fundamental skills required for a career in Journalism. In addition to the core tasks of idea generation, research and writing techniques, learners receive instruction on industry-standard page-layout software for newspapers, magazines and digital publications, plus audio and visual software for radio and video productions.

Students receive a free Adobe CC software suite licence, for use in college and at home.

Education: NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme.
