Students have 3 days left to register for the Maynooth University Virtual Open Day & Webinar, “Transitioning to College – What Your Maynooth University Experience will look like in 2020”. The Virtual Open Day will take place on Saturday, 27th June 2020 from 10am – 2pm.

Maynooth University Virtual Open Day & Webinar

By signing up at mu.ie/opendays , those who registered will receive exclusive information before the Virtual Open Day including the link to the webinar.

This is not an average open day… Usually you would able to visit the campus in person so their team could have a chat about your courses on campus and show off the facilities.

The Maynooth University team will be using the website to deliver Open Day presentations and YouTube to show you around the campus and facilities.

The presentations will be in video or PDF format and there will be experts available to answer your questions through online chats and Q&A’s.

You will be able to choose how you engage with the Maynooth team, so once you are registered, you can join them online from 10:00am, 27 June 2020 for information about studying at MU (all from the couch, in your jammies).

The Maynooth team will do their best to answer all your questions and they hope to meet you all in person soon.

Talks and Presentations

The traditional presentations will be available in video and downloadable via PDF for those with poor connectivity. Talks will be available from here and will cover, among other things:

  • Courses & subject areas
  • Fees & services
  • Accommodation
  • Student Services
  • Budgeting
  • Library
  • Student ambassadors
  • Campus facilities

Questions

Once you’ve had a look through the presentations that interest you, you will be able to to ask questions in the chats and Q&A’s.

You can also talk to existing Maynooth students who could give you an idea of what it’s REALLY like to join Maynooth
