Voice acting classes are the way to go if you have ever wanted to do voice-overs, voice acting or radio work.

What Might I Learn?

Voice acting classes will teach a very particular skillset. Most classes will cover things like:

• Learning about the way our voice is produced.
• The vocal cords and the resonators.
• Airflow, breathing, calming yourself down.
• Proper Mic control and recording.
• Stamina, maintaining technique throughout.

Who Is It For?

A voice acting class will cater to a very niche audience. It will be tailored specifically to those who want to obtain a career in voice acting or voice overwork. It is for any age though and you are never too old or too young to attend classes.

What Do I Need?

Just your voice! There are generally no other requirements for voice acting. You do not need to have existing skills in the areas and you don’t even need to have a particular type of voice. Anyone can join and anyone can get to grips with the challenges of voice acting.

What Can I Do With It?

Many different jobs employ voice actors; Voiceover works for TV and radio. Radio advertisements, cartoons, animated shows and movies, computer games, newsreader to name but a few.
