Courses

  2. Set Training Goals And Objectives; Following a comprehensive training needs analysis, the trainer will learn how to set realistic, measurable and achievable objectives for their training programme.
  3. Training Delivery; Next, the trainer will spend time developing the core skills needed to deliver a successful training programme. These include communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking and presentation skills. In addition to being able to think quickly and creatively. This stage encompasses all the key training skills, techniques and practices.
  4. Training Evaluation; Upon completion of the training, it is important to learn how to effectively evaluate your work. Trainers will learn how to measure and analyse their work, gather and report on feedback and use the feedback to self-improve.

 Careers in Training

Trainers are employed by companies in-house or hired for short periods to provide induction training to new recruits. They are usually hired by medium-large organisations, who have a bigger workforce but may also deliver specific training to smaller enterprises. Corporate trainers are generally hired by a company’s human resources department.

They deliver professional development classes, for instance in agile project management, strategic planning or resilience training. They also teach employees practical skills training such as team-building, new technologies, customer service or manual handling.

Furthermore,  trainers who provide practical skill training can include hairdressers, beauticians, nurses, fitness instructors, driving instructors and teachers. Anyone who delivers instruction in some form will all benefit from a train the trainer course. They will be able to deliver highly engaging and motivational sessions that are memorable and informative.
