Therefore, upon successfully completing this course, you are awarded an Adobe Certified Associate certification.

Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing

If you want a comprehensive, working knowledge of desktop publishing, this is the course for you.  You’ll learn foundations of colour theory, postscript and information about file size as well as how digital photography and royalty-free images are important tools of the trade.

Courses will cover the techniques of digital illustration and how they are part of desktop publishing. You’ll also learn about objects and grouping, vectors, photographic manipulation, layout and the importance of positioning and fitting text with graphics. Furthermore, you will learn the basics of web design.

Graphic Design for the Web

These courses teach you how to create graphic designs for use online. Lectures and hands-on activities let you develop graphics for the virtual world as well as learn techniques, generate ideas and get your ideas across.

Creating a user interface design with graphics is also part of this type of course. You’ll learn presentation techniques and design principles for a user interface, practice user and usability testing on your designs with the materials in this course.
