Introduction:
This practical one-day CPD workshop explores how past relationships, and emotional patterns emerge within the therapeutic relationship and how therapists can use their own responses as valuable clinical information.
Course Content:
To deepen therapists’ confidence in recognising, understanding and using transference and countertransference as central therapeutic tools rather than experiences to avoid or feel uncertain about.
This workshop supports therapists to work more consciously with relational dynamics while maintaining clear boundaries, safety and clinical thinking.
Transference and countertransference are at the heart of therapeutic work, yet many therapists feel uncertain about how to recognise and use these dynamics safely and effectively.
Designed for therapists of all modalities, this workshop offers an accessible but clinically rich exploration of transference and countertransference, helping practitioners feel more grounded, confident and effective in everyday practice.
