Introduction:
This one-day workshop introduces Body Psychotherapy and Somatic Approaches to participants and provides the opportunity for students and qualified psychotherapists to increase their knowledge and understanding of the role of the Body in psychotherapy.
Course Content:
The workshop will consist of a mix of lecture style, group work, case discussion and experiential exercises and will be suitable for anyone who would like to gain skills to incorporate body & somatic intervention in the therapy room, as well as gaining understanding relating to trauma and the body, and how to stay working safely and with boundaries as a psychotherapist. (This workshop is introductory and is not a Somatic Psychotherapy Training Course).
