This one-semester programme aims to introduce students to multidisciplinary approaches to understanding and responding to adult safeguarding. Students will study safeguarding from multiple perspectives, including the current context of adult safeguarding in Ireland; legal and policy frameworks; theories and concepts that guide safeguarding practices; and safeguarding within specific practice contexts. This will include opportunities for detailed discussion of case scenarios to aid critically reflective practice. The programme will be delivered in blended mode, with some days on campus in Dundalk and some work undertaken online.

The aim of the Springboard+-funded part-time programme is to provide re-skilling opportunities for level 8 graduates from non-Computing disciplines.
This 8-week Computer Aided Design course with provide learners with a solid introduction to CAD and equip them with the knowledge and skills to create and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
The breadth of the IT sector is huge and graduates are required with expertise in areas from computer networking to mobile phone technologies, the Internet, multi-media, games and software development.
The Masters of Science (MSc) in Computing is a 1 year full time (2 year part-time) taught course which allows the student to study the framework of computer science from a theoretical point of view and apply this knowledge to the development of industrial software in a research led dissertation.
