Dr. Yvonne Barnes-Holmes and Dr. Ciara McEnteggart are the directors and founders of Perspectives Ireland. They are both psychologists and have worked closely together since 2006 both at Maynooth University in Ireland and at Ghent University in Belgium, where they worked together as world leading academics and clinicians in the field of behavioral science.

Between them, we have published over 200 scientific articles, 5 edited volumes, given over 600 presentation and workshops internationally, and have over 30 years’ experience as clinical psychologists. Over the past 10 years, Yvonne and Ciara have developed a model of psychotherapy called PBBT, a therapy that was directly built out a scientific model.

A therapy built directly from science has been extremely rare in the history of clinical psychology. Perspectives Ireland have provided training in PBBT to 1000s of psychologists around the globe who have used PBBT with their clients.
