Due to the current restrictions with Covid-19, alternative arrangements have been put in place for the music auditions for the BA in Musical Theatre and BA (Hons) Music programmes at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT)
Music Auditions in DkIT
For BA Musical Theatre the arrangements are as follows:
Students will be required to submit three videos. The applicant must submit a choice of two contrasting songs from the list provided by DkIT and a movement video. Full details on the audition process will be sent to the email address applicants registered with the CAO in early March. Applicants are advised to check their email regularly (including spam folder). If you do not receive details about the alternative arrangements, please email creativearts@dkit.ie.
The deadline for video submissions for September 2021 auditions is Friday 16th April 2021.
For BA (Hons) Music the arrangements are as follows:
Students will be required to submit two videos: one demonstrating a range of performance skills and a second short presentation outlining their reasons for pursuing studies in the discipline. Full details on the audition process will be sent to the email address applicants registered with the CAO in early March. Applicants are advised to check their email regularly (including spam folder). If you do not receive details about the alternative arrangements please email creativearts@dkit.ie.
The deadline for video submissions for September 2021 auditions is Friday 16th April 2021.
A similar audition process will be utilised for those who apply through the CAO Change of Mind facility.
