The digitalisation of education has been well and truly foisted upon us over the last year and one resutt of this is that it highlighted the importance of modernising schools. Now education must consider the role of technology beyond the pandemic. An upcoming conference, Digital Education for a Strong Recovery, seeks to address, these issues.

The online conference takes place on on 8-10 June.

Digital Education for a Strong Recovery

You are invited to join the OECD for an online conference and participate in the discussion surrounding how technology is currently transforming education, while also exploring the future possibilities of further digitalisation.

Organised by the OECD’s Centre for Educational Research and Innovation, the conference will include findings from the OECD’s upcoming report Digital Education Outlook: Pushing the frontiers with AI, blockchain, and robots. Education ministers, heads of international organisations, leaders in Edtech, teachers and students will gather in a virtual forum to contribute their perspectives on technology in education.

This event aims to provide a space for educators, researchers, policy makers and other stakeholders to reflect on how to further advance effective and equitable digitalisation in education.
