This Award offers students the opportunity to progress Business courses in UCD, DCU, Maynooth University, TU Dublin & NCI. Level 8 -degree courses in Logistics & Supply Chain management in TU Dublin.
Also students can progress to Level 6 Logistics Associate Apprenticeship or use the Award to go directly into employment within the industry.

At any one-time, millions of tonnes of goods are on the move around the world. A Freight Forwarder is a dynamic career in an industry where there are constant demands for people with knowledge and understanding of the business.
Throughout the year students will participate in a blend of classroom and on-line learning, together with off-site visits, presentations from industry leaders and independent study.
You will receive Practical Customs Training provided by the Irish International Freight Association (IIFA) which, Post-Brexit, is vital for employees of businesses who trade with the UK and countries outside the EU.
You will also receive Manual Handling Training which is necessary for work in the warehousing or distribution industries.

About Cathal Brugha FET
