The course is dedicated to ensuring learners have the necessary training and knowledge to work with adults and children who have an intellectual disability. It’s a rewarding and fulfilling course that will set learners on the path to a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Practice placement of up to 39 hours a week forms an integral part of your training. After qualifying you’ll be able to pursue your career in clinical nursing, nurse management or education, with your training also a foundation to enable you to pursue other areas of nursing – from oncology to orthopaedics.
