Letterkenny Institute Of Technology (LYIT) is offering a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Intellectual Disability Nursing. The course is dedicated to ensuring learners have the necessary training and knowledge to work with adults and children who have an intellectual disability. It’s a rewarding and fulfilling course that will set learners on the path to a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Practice placement of up to 39 hours a week forms an integral part of your training. After qualifying you’ll be able to pursue your career in clinical nursing, nurse management or education, with your training also a foundation to enable you to pursue other areas of nursing – from oncology to orthopaedics.
