This Micro-credential will cover every aspect of child law, from the basic legal status of the child through to the various systems of alternative care in public family law. While the course will look at the court process involving children in private family law proceedings it will also examine in-depth the area of youth justice and illustrate how the criminal justice system interacts with children.
The course will provide explorations into topical child law issues, such as adoption and the law relating to guardianship, custody of, and access to children.
