The LL.B. (Hons) (Blended) law programme is an innovative and interactive teaching and learning experience, delivered through a combination of online and classroom-based learning. Students studying via blended have increased flexibility in organising their studies.

Students visit the Dublin campus on a monthly basis for ‘live’ days for each course, and, they have access to all facilities provided to full-time and part-time students, as well as the option of participating in the wide range of extracurricular activities undertaken by full-time and part-time law students at Griffith College, such as mooting, debating, FLAC and the Irish Innocence Project.

Entry RequirementsWe welcome independent, motivated self-starters which the discipline, commitment and desire to learn independently. All learners over 23 must meet with Programme Manager prior to formal admission in order to assess their needs, and if necessary to advise of alternative paths to progression, i.e. as part-time students. Learners who have previously completed the Diploma in Legal Studies and Practice at Griffith College may proceed directly to the second year of this programme. Also, learners under 23 years of age on 1st January of the year of admission must meet the following Leaving Certificate requirements, Min. 2 H5 and 4 O6/H7 grades, to include a language (English, Irish or another language). Technical Requirements Students must have a laptop with a functioning webcam, an external microphone headset, access to broadband. English Language Griffith College is accepting the online Duolingo English Test (DET) as valid proof of English proficiency. Please see here for further details. How to Apply Applicants under 23 years of age: Will also be required to upload a copy of their Leaving Certificate results with their application. A knowledge of basic IT skills is required for students taking the blended course, due to the reliance on the online learning facilities. Applicants over 23 years of age (Mature students): You will need to fill out the online application form online uploading a copy of your photo I.D. (passport or driving licence) with it.
Carear PathThe Griffith College law degree (LL.B. (Hons)) holders are eligible to sit the Law Society of Ireland, Final Examinations (Part 1). The Griffith College law degree (LL.B. (Hons)) is also a law degree recognised by the Honorable Society of Kings Inns. If you hope to enter a legal profession outside of this jurisdiction (Republic of Ireland), you should check the local requirements for legal practice and admission. It is your responsibility to find out the extent to which they will recognise the Griffith College law degree. Through the LL.B.
