This is an in-depth 8 week Improv Performance course in which you will learn how to create characters and scenes spontaneously while having fun! Facilitator is the reknowned Keith Jordan, professional filmmaker, actor, editor and inspriting faciliator. Content includes collaborative theatre games, physicality and character work, devising scripts, and a variety of other techniques. It requires a commitment to attend all classes and the production schedule below.
This class is suitable for those who have completed the ‘Welcome to Improvisation’ 4 week course or who have previous improvisation experience either in class or on stage. We will practice voice & body work as well as exercises that connect imagination to action and free the intuitive subconscious to increase creativity and moment-to-moment awareness.
In the final week, the class will perform an improvised show in a Dublin theatre venue, open to the public.
Commitment to the final performance and a rehearsal on the afternoon of the performance is essential for this course.
