Learn about the management of forest ecosystems for human and environmental benefits in this free online course. We refer to a complex ecosystem dominated by trees and other plants as a ‘forest’, which needs to be cared for and managed properly. Forestry is all about controlling, preserving and utilising the forest for the benefit of humanity. How should we care for and manage forests and why is this so important? We will help you understand the art of managing, conserving and caring for these ecosystems and examine the concept of ‘urban forestry’.
