This is a three-year part-time course designed to prepare students for careers as Electrical Services Engineers. The course has been designed in close consultation with the Electrical Services Industry. Students will develop expertise in the technical areas necessary to use software packages for electrical services design. The course will provide a wide knowledge base, which will enable the student to specialise in different areas of interest such as the following: lighting design; emergency services design; data cabling; standby power systems; building automation; electrical distribution design; project management; building services and environmental control.
