| Career Path | CAD Technicians are employed by companies and organisations in various sectors, e.g. construction, structural and mechanical engineering, manufacturing, local authorities and architectural consultants. They generally work as part of an engineering, design or development team to produce the detailed 2D drawings and 3D models required at the various stages of a project’s design and implementation. They work closely with engineers, technicians, suppliers, quantity surveyors and clients. |
