The O’Connell Centre/ Ionad Uí Chonaill takes its name from the Liberator, Daniel O’Connell (1775- 1847) who was born close to the site of the centre.

The O’Connell Adult Education Centre offers a wide range of courses for education and pleasure.  There is something to suit everyone, whether you’re interested in learning to paint or you want to improve your computer skills.  Courses are available during both the day and night.
