GOALS OF THE IRISH TAI-CHI CHUAN ASSOCIATION

 

To help our students achieve a sense of calm & relaxation and control stress.

To promote a state of physical health and mental well-being.

To achieve a pro-active approach to stress management.

To encourage growth in our students of a mental, physical and personal nature.

To make Tai-Chi specific to a students needs in daily life.

To promote awareness of the philosophy and practice of Tai-Chi in Ireland.

To develop Tai-Chi instructors and ensure their high standards through our continual education programme.

IRISH TAI-CHI CHUAN ASSOCIATION CODE OF ETHICS

 

All teachers are encouraged to follow and practice the following at all times:

 

Aim to be unselfish in our conduct with others.

Be as honest as possible in all dealings.

Practice awareness and patience.

Try not to criticise others, or interfere with their affairs.

Do not seek recognition and if it comes receive it gracefully.

Work for the good of all, including oneself.

Only teach what we have practiced and found to be of value.

Encourage power on all levels of Life and use them wisely.

Be aware of keeping a natural balance between all areas of our life.

Give both ourselves and others the freedom to discover, develop and practice the fullness of our being.
