For thirty years, An Cosán has been delivering lifelong learning in Tallaght West, teaching from early years to adulthood in communities that struggle with injustice and inequality. An Cosán is now developing a national profile through its innovative and award-winning Virtual Community College (VCC).  VCC is reducing the digital divide, supporting learners to develop their skills through using 21st century teaching and learning technologies, and offering additional supports to learners to enable them achieve their full potential.

Virtual Community College (VCC) is working to create a future in which further and higher education can become a reality for those affected by injustice and inequality and all those who wish to continue their education in an accessible and affordable way. We cater for learners who have not benefited from mainstream education and offer additional supports to all learners so they can achieve their full potential. Our vision is to reduce the digital divide and support learners to achieve academic excellence through the use of online educational technologies.
