Education Futures and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions are hosting a webinar next Thursday, Sept 3rd. “Future Forward:investing In Education In A Post-covid World” will explore how we fund our higher education system.
The line-up of speakers includes Simon Harris, Minister for Education, Lorna Fitzpatrick, President of the Union of Students in Ireland and Jim Miley, DG of the Irish Universities Association, along with other notable speakers who will address the issue of Investing In Education In A Post-covid World.

Education Futures is a national coalition of Trade Unions, Students’ Unions and others seeking public funding for a quality higher education system in the Republic of Ireland. The national campaign steering group is made up of Student Unions and Trade Unions active on third level campuses across Ireland. They are:

- USI (Union of Students in Ireland)
- SIPTU (Services, Industrial, Professional and Technical Union)
