On the 5th November 2020, the Irish Universities Association hosted The Enhancing Digital Teaching & Learning Project (EDTL). As part of the project,  the EDTL student interns took over the webinar series to talk about their experiences of being on the receiving end of online/remote assessment. The webinar, The Student Perspective of Online/ Remote Assessment, is now available to watch.

Based on the webinar, the EDTL student intern team have produced a set of tips for those who are teaching online:


The Irish Universities Association is the voice of the university sector in Ireland. We are committed to representing the interests of our member universities as key contributors to the economic, social and cultural well-being of Ireland.
This 3 year EDTL project, which is funded through the HEA’s Innovation and Transformation Programme, is aimed at enhancing the digital attributes and educational experiences of Irish university students through enabling the mainstreamed and integrated use of digital technologies across the teaching and learning process. The project aims to mainstream digital in teaching and learning activities in Irish Universities, by addressing the professional development of all who teach or support teaching and learning.

Whichcollege.ie is a national database of universities, colleges, institutes and providers of third level, CAO and PLC courses in Ireland. We operate a national search database of courses and colleges.
