To mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Carlow College St Patrick’s will be hosting a Public Lecture by Dr Thomas Mc Grath on January 27th at 1.45pm.

Running throughout the year, the Carlow College, St. Patrick’s Lecture Series will explore a wide range of areas within arts, humanities and social studies, including psychology, history, English and social care. The series is delivered by academics and practitioners who research and work in these areas.

About this Public Lecture

This talk will mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be delivered by historian Dr Thomas Mc Grath, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Registrar of Carlow College, St Patrick’s. The lecture will consider Nazi Concentration Camps from their foundation in 1933 to their dissolution on the defeat of Germany in 1945. The lecture will examine how these camps were run by the SS and the sufferings of those who were incarcerated in them. All are welcome.
