With many schools now experiencing partial closures, the government’s contingency plans are under increasing pressure.
Despite so many pupils needing to learn from home and guidance on when schools are expected to operate remotely, little detail has been shared on how schools are expected to operate remotely and minimise learning losses, as well as how schools can integrate blended learning within their longer-term offer.
This Digital Learning Lessons for Leadership virtual panel discussion from the Education Policy Institute (EPI), in partnership with the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) and the Confederation of School Trusts (CST), will explore how schools should shape their approaches to blended learning.
The event, Chaired by EPI Executive Chairman David Laws, will enable leading representatives from the education sector to share both their experiences and perspectives. It is hoped that hoped attendees will benefit from these insights and consider implementing some of the actionable recommendations for blended learning shared by the expert panel.
Speakers will include Geoff Barton (ASCL), Steve Rollett (CST), Dr Kate Chhatwal OBE (Challenge Partners), John Murphy (Oasis Community Learning), Stephen Munday CBE (The Cam Academy Trust and Chartered College for Teaching), Jenny Dunne (New Bridge Group) and Dawn Haywood (Invited– Windsor Academies Trust).
