IPASS – The Irish Payroll Association is organising and running a special webinar as part of National Payroll Week, focusing on how payroll teams can identify knowledge gaps, strengthen capability and support ongoing professional development.
Taking place online on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at 2pm Dublin time, the 45-minute webinar will explore how organisations can use Act, an assessment and learning platform designed specifically for payroll professionals, to support learning throughout the year.
The session will examine how leading payroll teams use Act as an ongoing learning and assessment tool rather than relying solely on training when employees first join an organisation.
Attendees will learn how quiz results can be used to identify areas requiring further development and how real-time visibility of team knowledge can help managers decide where training should be focused.
The webinar will also demonstrate a practical approach that can be applied by payroll teams of different sizes.
Act includes a bank of payroll questions, a traffic-light dashboard designed to highlight capability gaps and targeted learning resources. The approach aims to help payroll professionals identify what they know, where further development is required and how knowledge can be strengthened over time.
The session will be particularly relevant to payroll managers and organisations looking for a structured approach to maintaining and developing payroll knowledge.
