LIVE TALKS

The main event in the online celebration will be a series of talks by guest mathematicians, including the 2022 winners of the Fields Medal (one of the highest honors in mathematics).

The talks will be streamed here live, in two sessions at  12:00pm & 2pm.

The proclamation of March 14 as the International Day of Mathematics was adopted by the Executive Council of UNESCO at its 205th session. The International Day of Mathematics is a project led by the International Mathematical Union , with a new theme every year. The theme for 2023 is Mathematics for Everyone!
