The EduXR Symposium 2026: XR and Me – Learning in New Realities will take place on 12 May 2026 at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in Athlone, Ireland. The one‑day, in‑person event brings together educators, researchers, students and industry partners to explore the current and future potential of extended reality (XR) technologies — including augmented, virtual and mixed reality — in education and training.

Participants will share insights on immersive learning design, pedagogy, innovation, and upskilling, while also discussing integration challenges and impact on teaching and learning practices. The symposium fosters networking and collaboration across XR research and practice communities.


Featured Course

This one-year course will aim to offer students an introduction to the world of Augmented and Virtual Reality, providing students with the knowledge and skills to develop, design and evaluate immersive experiences with virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies.
