Professional one-year part-time courses

The Gaiety School of Acting’s one-year part-time courses are for adult students who are serious about the craft. All students should be committed to the pursuit of excellence. The tutors on these courses are theatre professionals. They all are accomplished tutors as well as performers. The courses also includes specialist classes with experts in various fields. These include theatre skills such as voice, mime, stage combat and so forth.

Students will attend two classes every week over three ten week terms. Furthermore, all the GSA’s courses are independent one-year programmes. However, as each course contains consecutive levels of training. As a result, the GSA ensures that the programme serves as levels 1, 2 and 3 of a comprehensive 3-year cycle. Please note that the GSA conducts an audition and interview with all applicants for all three courses.
