In this course, documentary editor Mick Mahon will talk about his work, and will take you through his workflow and process in this hands-on workshop. He will place particular emphasis on his recent project Gaza, discussing the evolution of this project from inception to completion from a documentary editing point of view.

Irish Screen Editors is a non-profit guild of professional editors and assistant editors. Their goal is to enhance the prominence and recognition of experienced editors in all media. Through a shared sense of community, they hope to improve transparency around working conditions, pay and advancement within our profession. Their aim is to empower professional editors and work together toward the common goal of reinforcing the respect for the art and craft of editing in Ireland.
