Students will study speech and drama, acting to camera and film production for the well rounded experience. In speech and drama students work on confidence, voice, creativity and acting for stage. Students take part in two showcases throughout the academic year which take place in a city centre theatre. Students also take part in the Feis Maitiu in the Mill Theatre Dundrum in May.
In film, students will learn to write, direct and shoot their own tv commercials and short films. These films will be screened at the showcases.
Class trips to the theatre and cinema are included where possible, and students have the option of studying for their grade exams with Trinity College London.
