Students who undertake this one-year course in Pre- Physiotherapy studies will gain an understanding of the
principles and practices of rehabilitation and an insight into how to assess and treat clients whose movement is
restricted by illness, injury, disability or age. Students will gain the skills needed by the HSE to work in the healthcare sector, which will help them to understand therapy programmes and support clients in restoring or improving their mobility.
Practical classes will be timetabled on - site at Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena and the National gymnastic Training Centre at Sport Campus Ireland campus.

This one-year course, similar to our other arts programme, aims to prepare students for entrance into Arts degrees in Irish universities and colleges, as well as preparing students to work in a European environment both in Ireland and abroad.
