| Carear Path | Students who qualify in this area can pursue further study and a career in computing and the games design sector. As a graduate of this course, you will have a skill set that will enable you to gain employment in the ever-growing games industry, working as part of a development team or in any area of the software development industry. This includes software developers, Games designer and developer. Students can engage with FIT which is an IT led initiative that offers students the opportunity to acquire essential skills to gain employment in the thriving IT sector. QQI graduates are eligible to apply to universities and technological universities for Level 7 and Level 8 degree places in the following; TUD, Maynooth University, Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone, NUIG, Marino Institute of Education, American College, DBC and Dun Laoghaire IADT. Graduates of this course can also apply for places reserved on First Arts in Maynooth for QQI entrants and select computer options. There are over 175 places available reserved for QQI entrants.
