This workshop offers a focused return to the foundational skills that underpin effective therapeutic practice, with particular attention to the therapist’s use of self and the creation of relational depth. Designed as a reflective and experiential CPD opportunity, the module supports practitioners in re-grounding their work in core therapeutic principles while enhancing confidence, intentionality, and presence in the room.
Participants will revisit essential skills; attending, observing, reflecting, and responding; while deepening their understanding of how therapist authenticity, self-awareness, and moment-to-moment responsiveness shape the therapeutic relationship.
