Safeguarding Children

Every modern society must take the role of safeguarding children seriously. It is to ensure that children, irrespective of religion, race, gender or location are protected from abuse and are able to lead happy and healthy lives. Children are a vulnerable section in society and more prone to abuse and harm if not cared for or safeguarded properly. If you aspire to work with children or already do in some role, this course in Safeguarding Children will further enhance your knowledge and understanding on how to tackle safeguarding issues. The course is comprehensive and will focus on protecting children and preserving their rights. Children have the opportunity to live safely and freely, and society must take every precaution and measure to ensure that children are allowed to enjoy this basic human right. There are guidelines, policies and procedures to uphold and maintain the rights of children everywhere.

Key modules will be fully explored in Safeguarding Children, you will learn to identify the signs of abuse, how to respond if you believe a child is being abused and what measures should be implemented to ensure safeguarding. Children need a protector and carer and this course will equip you with the right skills and knowledge to take on the role and responsibilities of safeguarding children in your care.
