It is the primary responsibility of our modern society to safeguard adults. The core message of the Safeguarding Adults course is to ensure every adult is protected from abuse and can exercise their basic human right. This is irrespective of race, religion, gender or location. Every adult has the right to lead a happy and healthy life. If you aspire to, or already work in the health and social care sectors, you will understand the importance of this subject better. The course provides an in-depth overview of how to tackle safeguarding issues and help adults preserve their basic rights. This is an important subject matter and something that must be taken seriously to ensure the right to live freely. If you work in an organisation, it is the responsibility of the organisation to take the necessary steps to protect, support and empower adults in your care.
