MULTIPLE RELIEF TILE WORKSHOP ` 7.00-9.30pm €95
Level: NOT suitable for beginners.
This workshop will be split into two stages and runs over both dates –
Wednesday, 1st & Friday, 3rd November 7.00-9.30pm
Week One will consist of the making process. Participants will trace a 2D image onto
a pre-prepared block of clay, which will then be carved to create plains of high and
low relief. The tile will then be cast in a special plaster so the tile can be replicated over
and over again.
Week Two will consist of replicating our tiles and decorating them with underglazes before they go into the kiln.
Pieces can be collected approximately 2 weeks after finish date.
All materials included in course fee.
