Pilates
Participant Profile:
Pilates (pronounced Pih-lah-teez) is a type of physical and mental conditioning using well designed, choreographed movements properly performed and in a balanced sequence. It can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. No previous exercise experience is necessary.
Programme Description:
• Improve your shape, promote flexibility and remedy any postural problems by re aligning your body structure to its natural balance • Promote stability in the “core” or“centre” of the body – around your middle where the muscles that support your spine are located – and in the shoulder girdle and pelvis • Work every muscle-group in the body,with special attention to the muscles that stabilise the joints • Book early as places are limited.
