An easy introduction to pieces of popular classical music and the instruments of the orchestra.
The course will outline the lives of the composers, set in a historical and cultural context.
It will examine the development of classical music throughout the ages, examining the main features of each period.
No musical experience or ability, other than an interest in listening is required.
This is a 24 week course.
