Designed and taught by staff who are leading experts in their fields, this Master's degree in Games and Extended Reality at DkIT aims to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, develop and evaluate games and immersive user experiences with virtual (VR), augmented (AR) and mixed reality technologies. The online flexible mode of delivery allows you to study at times that suit your schedule, from any location (with internet access).
This course will provide graduates with the necessary technical knowledge and transferable skills to work in a variety of roles within the industry including Game Engine Developers, Programmers, 3D Artists and AR/VR Developers.

This 60-credit, 3-semester part-time, predominately online programme has been developed in collaboration with Teagasc Ballyhaise Agricultural College, is ideally suited to holders of level 7 qualifications in Agriculture and related areas who wish to progress to a level 8 qualification.
This programme, comprising 30 credits at Level 9 on the National Framework, consists of the first two modules of the Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching, which has been running in DkIT since 2010.

The overall aim of the MBS is to produce independent minded, self reliant graduates with the theory, practice and research capability for employment as managers in both specialist and non-specialist roles across a broad range of industry sectors.
