“People, places and times past: An introduction to local history research.” An introduction to all the sources for local history which includes research methods & organising your research; primary and secondary sources and where to find them; how family, local and national histories relate; appraising sources and writing up your findings. Topics include records relating to land, placenames and folklore, buildings, architecture and
archaeology.
