This course is for anyone interested in learning the basics of acting for the camera. No previous experience is needed, just an interest in exploring! We will begin with basic improvisation techniques for building scenes, and will progress to working with a script. Each class we will be recording our work on camera and we will be watching the playback for learning purposes. (This footage will not be released for use outside of the class. )
This will be an engaging and gentle way to begin to explore film acting. The facilitator, Kathleen Warner Yeates, is a specialist in directing actorf for film, and works as a professional actor in film and TV as well as theatre.
