Homicide Risk Evaluation and Firearm Safety





A free online course for healthcare providers to assess or identify patients at risk and take appropriate actions. Homicide is reported to be the leading cause of death in the United States. This course for mental health professionals will review screening measures for evaluating patients with a tendency for violence. It will highlight the critical aspects of homicide and firearm safety to help you address the well-being of those at risk. You will learn about the extended roles of healthcare providers in advocating the removal of guns from certain homes.
