If you are interested in working with people in a health services setting or have already completed a Level 5 in the health services field and want to improve your chances of promotion to a more senior supervisory management role in this area, this is the ideal course. This QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate at DCFE offers holders of a FETAC/QQI Level 5 health related award or equivalent (e.g. Level 5 HCA/Level 5 Nursing Studies) the opportunity to undertake further studies in the area. It will equip the learner with the necessary knowledge, skills and competence to undertake supervisory roles in the caring environment.

Learners will acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to undertake Supervisory Management roles in the community and in a range of health services settings. Successful completion will offer enhanced opportunities in employment and will also enable learners to progress to other appropriate programmes leading to awards at higher levels of the NFQ
