This new one-year Hairdressing course would both prepare students for the ever expanding world of hairdressing and haircare. This is the ideal starting point for a successful and fulfilling career in the hairdressing industry. Students develop the required skills to work in a professional salon and also perfect the customer communication essential to its success. Carear PathGraduates who qualify in this area can pursue a career in styling, theatrical film work, general hairdressing work, hairdressing retail outlets or it can lead to placement as a senior 1st year apprentice in a hairdressing salon. Further study for junior/senior trade certificates beauty salons, make-up and skin care consultancies, or work in leisure centres, cruise liners or in health farms. Graduates may further their study at level 6 in the beauty industry or any level 7 course at IT colleges.
