Course Description:
During this excellent GarageBand: an Introduction course Jeff Dykehouse, a veteran audio engineer, gives you tips and tricks for mastering the interface, learning basic recording techniques, arranging a song, recording live instruments/vocals, editing and mixing tracks, adding special effects, podcasting, and distributing your GarageBand compositions via the internet or CD. Whether you’re someone who is a newcomer to GarageBand, or if you have some experience using it, there is a whole host of information throughout this courses which will enable you to get the most out of GarageBand. This GarageBand course covers a number of interesting and useful topics, such as the new LCD mode, how to burn songs to CD without iTunes, how to arrange track/markers, how to work with multi-take recording, and how to use all the new features of GarageBand.

Meet the instructor:
Jeff Dykhouse has been actively involved in audio engineering for more than 20 years. He has been a user of computer-based recording systems from their inception. Jeff’s diverse career has earned him gold and platinum awards (RIAA). Many of Jeffs endeavors have been within the Praise & Worship genre, where he has worked with top artists such as Paul Baloche, Crystal Lewis, Kevin Prosch and The Violet Burning. Additional clients include corporations such as RCA, Apple Computer, NBC and Charles Schwab. Jeff owns and operates a recording facility and systems design company in Temecula, CA
How will I be assessed?
- You will have one assignment. Pass mark is 65%.
- You will only need to pay £19 for assessment.
- You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days.
What Certification am I going to receive?
Those who successfully pass this course will be awarded a GarageBand: an Introduction certificate. Anyone eligible for certification will receive a free e-certificate, and printed certificate.
