This advanced-level course prepares students for the vibrant, creative, and constantly evolving world of fashion design. Throughout the course, students will work on individual design projects and culminate their studies by producing a personal fashion collection for the end-of-year show. Entry Requirements

Applicants should hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Fashion or an Art & Design–related discipline.

Mature and postgraduate students are warmly welcomed.

All applicants will be invited to meet with a member of the fashion team to discuss their suitability for the course. You will be contacted with details regarding the date, time, and location of your meeting.

Applicants are also required to present a small sample of creative work to demonstrate their skills and interests.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this QQI Level 6 course can progress to degree-level programs in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related creative disciplines. Successful students are eligible to apply for final-year entry to the BA (Hons) Fashion and Promotion at Sunderland University, as well as advanced entry to NCAD, TUD, IADT, and LSAD.
