Diploma in Dyslexia Awareness – Level 3

Dyslexia is a common learning disability that renders an individual incapable of reading, writing or pronouncing. This disability becomes more obvious when a child starts schooling. However, certain signs in early childhood might also help detect the disability, which is why awareness of this disorder is essential to detect and provide the necessary support for the children. This Diploma in Dyslexia Awareness – Level 3 has been developed to help you do just that and hence, is ideal for parents, teachers, healthcare professionals and counsellors.

This course will take you through all the nook and cranny of dyslexia disorder to help you identify its symptoms at the earliest. You will understand how to diagnose dyslexia and how to provide solutions for dyslexia, followed by modules that will talk about the co-occurring conditions in relation to dyslexia.

As dyslexia is identified mostly in children, this course will also discuss how to promote a dyslexia-friendly learning environment to make those children feel accepted. By the end of this course, you will be well aware of dyslexia to detect and support children with the disability.

The course has been endorsed under the ABC Awards and Certa Awards Quality Licence Scheme. This means that Global Edulink* has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The course itself has been designed by Global Edulink* to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications.
